Wine handling
The process of wine handling requires high care due to the particular delicacy in not altering its organoleptic properties and thanks to optimal control of flow and any compounds added therein.
Using the ACME Peristaltic Pumps we will not have any physiological alteration to the liquid part and no aeration nor contamination of the mass, as this process takes place in a soft way and without any trauma, keeping the product’s perfumes unaltered and allowing a more complete and homogeneous extraction of the color.
The resultant percentage of lees is very low, about 1/3 compared to normal, since this gentle pumping does not cause any peel breakage.
Barriques filling- ACME Peristaltic Pumps can be easily used for filling and emptying barriques thanks to their sucking power; this operation takes place in the most accurate delicacy, without causing the wine transferred to suffer the slightest trauma or flapping.
Racking and bottling- In the bottling plants, the ACME Peristaltic Pumps can feed the filler in a delicate way, suitable for the required use: the inverter, modulating the flow rate without pressure change and in accordance with the analogue signal received from the filler, avoids the use of harmful bypass and product recirculation systems.
Dosage of adjuvants and enzymes
The ACME peristaltic pumps can dose enzymes, bentonite, glycerine, arabic gum and silica sol with high precision, thus allowing greater efficiency in the treatment of various products; such a result guarantees greater operability, duration and resistance to abrasion, compared with other categories of pumps.
